During high-school I took drawing-lessons as part of my exam. I think these classes were the hours of school I enjoyed most. Besides the assignments for school I used to draw a lot for myself. Inspiration came from all kind of sources; photos, poems, assignments, music, text…I obliged myself to use various materials (like paint, chalk, ink, oil-paint..)
During my studies in Delft, architecture, I learned to draw in a more technical way, first by hand, but as the computer took over a lot, we now draw most of the time with the computer, using the 2D and 3D CAD- and visualization programs. But besides the obliged technical drawing program I took as many side-courses as possible, with various themes, like the city or the human body.
